After his Baptism in the hospital, we knew that when Joseph was well enough, we would be able to complete his first sacrament at church. Well, with his special name-day being on the Solemnity of St. Joseph, we thought that would be the perfect day!
The actual event. With that sweet-smelling oil. He received the white garment and the light of Christ, too.
With his godparents and Father.

We celebrated afterward with Mass ... and a Sloppy Joseph dinner! (This may become our new tradition on this Solemnity! =) Special gifts were given to him by his godparents, too.
